“During Covid, we were getting emailed updates from our County Judge regarding the latest health and situational requirements in order to work. After we received the updates, we would meet to determine how to meet the requirements of the County Judge, so we did not risk closing our doors,” Maria Harris explains.
“Throughout Covid, we received email updates from our County Judge outlining the latest health and safety requirements for operating. After each update, we would gather to discuss how to comply with the County Judge’s guidelines to ensure we didn’t have to close our doors,” explains Maria Harris. We learned how to improvise, adapt and overcome the challenges presented to us in order to best serve our clients and keep our crews working.
Thanks to consistent communication, BRYJO was able to pivot in ways that allowed things to flow smoothly.
Some of the changes include practices like purchasing wash stations for job sites, focusing on projects that could be physically isolated, and safely limiting client and vendor interactions when on-site.
The company even purchased several hydraulic dump trailers to compensate for the unavailability and limitations imposed by many dumpster companies.
Fortunately, BRYJO was able to hold its own while many of its competitors struggled to operate, and that gap has only grown wider to this day.

We also place a lot of our roofing and siding orders with SPEC Building Materials. We’ve been doing business with SPEC for the entire 25 years we’ve been in business; they’re a national organization. We find that these particular vendors operate the way that we do. They have a conscience and want to take care of their consumers,” Maria Haris explains.
“Reese Kitchen & Bath is our primary plumbing supplier. While we work with other suppliers, we’d like to specifically highlight them. We also place a significant amount of our roofing and siding orders with SPEC Building Materials. We’ve been partnering with SPEC for the entire 25 years we’ve been in business; they’re a national organization. We find these specific vendors operate the way that we do —they share our values, with a strong focus on prioritizing customer service,” Maria Harris explains.
For its interior renovations, BRYJO has connections with several industry-leading suppliers as well. “We also have some great tile suppliers that we work with, like Arizona Tile, Emser, Tile, and Daltile. They’re very reliable, so we do a lot of business with them,” Michael Harris confirms.
