What a difference a year makes!

Last November 1st I took on the role of Editor in Chief at Business View – something I’d aspired to for quite a while. It was super exciting and I can’t believe how quickly the past 12 months have whizzed by. I’ve heard a lot during interviews in that time about ‘silos’, which has made me realize how lucky I am. For while I may work remotely in my own little world, I definitely am not alone. I have lots of company on the journey to success – a fantastic team that makes all of our Business View publications a true joy to produce and to share with you, our wonderful readers. I am so grateful to all of them. Special thanks to our Publisher, Marcus VandenBrink, who has been incredibly flexible, and patient, and ultimately trusted me to get the job done. Here’s to an exciting year ahead for all of us!

This edition of Business View North America is designed with health, fitness, and wellbeing in mind. Our cover story on Club Fitness is proof positive that an active lifestyle is important to keeping our mental acuity strong, our imagination stoked, and just feeling good overall. No matter what age or ability. The outstanding facilities at Weymouth Club (Massachusetts) and Rochester Athletic Club (Minnesota) reinforce that passion to get moving. What’s not to love?

We also share some amazing product innovations and solutions in Health Care from Nufabrx, Simple Again, and reLink Medical, while Manitoba’s Salem Home provides long-term, aged care in an environment filled with friendly faces and all the comforts of ‘home’.

When it comes to financial health, community banks take care of their members with a personal touch. Our features on NJBankers, Columbia Bank, Ist Colonial Community Bank, Bank of St. Francisville, Prime Meridian, and Flint Community Bank highlight that much appreciated extra attention. Loans and mortgages are a huge part of the finance story for both commercial and residential needs. Indeed, real estate and property development is booming, as evidenced by TJ Lewis Real Estate, 1 Percent Lists, My Charlotte Real Estate Agents, and Alpha Construction. And to visually get your message out there, Signarama has well-earned recognition as the largest sign franchise in the world, with over 700 global locations. Marketing to the masses!

If you’re looking to travel, Classic Hotels & Resorts has some amazing luxury, boutique properties across California and Arizona. And to get you to your destination, no matter where that may be, we shine the lights on seven general aviation airports that are soaring to new heights, as people once again take to the air. Discovery awaits at Arnold Palmer Regional, Virginia Highlands, Lancaster, Brandywine Regional, Hagerstown Regional, Walla Walla Regional, and Prince George International – in beautiful northern British Columbia.

Cheers to making the world a brighter, happier place… enjoy the read!
