admits, “But, as far as I’m aware, we’re the only na-
tional insurance and tax franchise that focuses on the
underserved Latino consumer. By combining insur-
ance and tax preparation services in one business,
our customers can manage a big chunk of their finan-
cial services needs with the same provider. Unlike our
tax preparation competitors, our offices remain open
for business to our customers year round, which pro-
vides them with a higher level of comfort and security.
We’ll be there to help them after April 15th, and still be
located at the same address next year.”
In order to become a Fiesta franchisee, a potential
candidate does not have to have an insurance back-
ground, but does need to have, or be able to obtain,
an insurance license. In addition, all franchisees must
speak Spanish. The initial franchisee fee for a single
location is $10,000, plus $3,500 for a marketing pack-
age to prepare the store for its initial Grand Opening.
Once accepted as a franchisee, the training begins.
Silke explains: “As soon as a franchisee signs on the
dotted line, emails and information start going out
and our team gets on the phone with the franchisee to
guide them through the process. We have a marketing
package put together that has all of the branded mar-
keting materials that goes inside the store; we have
our vendors who provide the furniture and the com-
puter equipment, and as soon as they get the store
built out, then our IT team gets in there and sets up the
computers and gets everything moving.
Once they’re ready for their grand opening, they’re re-
quired to come to the corporate office in Las Vegas to
spend a week with us, going through a comprehensive
classroom training which covers everything needed
to start their journey as a Fiesta franchisee – not just
insurance sales and using our rating technology and
our proprietary agency management system, but we
