All work and no play… never a good recipe for success! Especially today, when work follows us everywhere we go. Your mobile phone, your tablet, your laptop, home office, business office, car, dinner table, walking the dog…

That’s why it’s such a pleasure to speak with so many company executives and municipal leaders who are all emphasizing the importance of health and wellness for their staff and the communities they live in and do business in. One of the most talked-about topics is outdoor recreation – specifically, the lure of trail systems. Often these are built along the site of old railway tracks that have been removed and the paths repurposed to accommodate hiking, biking, and strolling enthusiasts.

These rail trails are a welcome breath of fresh air – literally – and not only offer beautiful scenery but also a chance to step back in history. To discover the remnants of an area’s heritage and roots in a fabulous natural environment where you can take a deep breath and ponder the present and future. No Wi-Fi here, so tuck your phone away and relish the time away!

In this month’s edition of Business View, our cover story showcases Centinel Bank of Taos, New Mexico. Their three-generation legacy of excellence continues, as they strive to help the next generation of business owners, homeowners, and students achieve their financial goals. The Auto Dealers Industry is also at the forefront, these days, with interesting insights from West Point Lincoln and Hubert Vester Auto Group.

Strashin Developments (Toronto) is making great strides in Sustainable Construction and B&M Roofing (Colorado) celebrates 75 years of providing outstanding service to its many valuable clients. On the interior scene, The RTA Store was well-positioned to weather the pandemic as a trusted online cabinetry retailer – open 24/7 for clients looking to DIY products to improve their home spaces. And in Las Vegas, Planet 13 is known for their world-class dispensary operations and inventory of premium quality cannabis products – they also put on quite a fantastic show!

If you’re feeling a little hungry, think Osmow’s… and the most delish Mediterranean food experience you could desire. Then the Fort Worth Club can help you sustain good health and wellness in their remarkable, historic Platinum Club. Finally, let your spirits soar with our visits to Anniston Regional, Heart of Georgia Regional, Lake Wales Municipal, Northeast Philadelphia, and Lewiston-Nez Perce County Airports.

Embracing the power of positive thinking is something we can all aspire to, my friends. Be well, keep smiling, and enjoy the read!
