NAM Chamber Welcome Senate
Efforts to Reauthorize ExIm Bank
National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Direc-
tor of Trade Facilitation Policy Lauren Airey and U.S.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director of Interna-
tional Policy Christopher Wenk issued the following
joint statement on introduction of two Senate bills for
a long-term reauthorization of the Export-Import (Ex-
Im) Bank:
“The introduction of a bipartisan long-term Ex-Im reau-
thorization bill by Sens. Mark Kirk (R-IL), Lindsey Gra-
ham (R-SC), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) and Joe Manchin
(D-WV) and a second long-term reauthorization bill by
Sens. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Richard Blumenthal
(D-CT), Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Cory Booker (D-NJ) and
Tom Udall (D-NM) is an important and welcome step
