Not many companies can say they’ve been around
for nearly 90 years. And even fewer can boast about
still-burgeoning vitality and progress with such a
milestone anniversary on the near-term horizon.
So, clearly, Great Western Ink is not your run-of-the-
mill business.
Nine decades after its inception in 1925, Great
Western continues to provide ink solutions and
pressroom consumables to a base that includes
more than 1,000 clients across parts of five states.
The company – with technical operations centers
in Portland, Ore., Seattle, Wash., Hayward and La
Verne, Calif. and Reno, Nev. – has boosted its sales
by more than 25 percent in each of the last five
fiscal years across a service territory that also in-

Idaho and New Mexico.

printing, flexographic inks and coatings, and its
staff has extensive experience in ink manufactur-
ing, plates and proofing and other pressroom spe-
cialties.
