Cross-Industry Partnership Creates Manufacturers for Trade Enforcement:

The Aluminum Association made

common cause with partners from the steel, textile, chemicals, recycling and other industries to form the

Manufacturers for Trade Enforcement advocacy group. In December, the U.S. government confirmed that it would

not grant MES to China until certain statutory requirements are met. Granting MES prematurely would remove

a key tool for industries seeking government relief from unfair trade practices.
