Through our two subsidiaries, the Transportation Tech-
nology Center Inc. (TTCI) – a research and testing facil-
ity in Pueblo, Colorado, which is owned by the Depart-
ment of Transportation and managed by the AAR – as
well as Railinc Corp., AAR will support research and
development projects to enhance the safety, security
and efficiency of the railroad industry. Railinc provides
rail data and information technology services to the
North American freight railway industry.
In 2016, the AAR is ramping up communications ef-
forts to key audiences, emphasizing five key areas: the
railroad network; the industry’s unrelenting commit-
ment to safety; railroad employees; new technologies
being used and developed to improve operations; and,
the diverse set of customers that we serve to deliver
