They are: advocating, educating, uniting, and supporting the interests of all credit unions in the state of New York. The Association represents around 265 members who are institutions or credit unions. Credit unions are different in structure from banks. Credit unions are chartered to service their members’ need for credit. They also empower and assist their communities in succeeding by focusing on financial strength, stability, awareness, and health.
