23 BUSINESS VIEW MAGAZINE JUNE 2019 Irish Whiskey The Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey - a blend of aged Irish single malt and grain whiskies, great for mixing, approachable, affordable, and comes in a damn fine looking bottle. Redbreast 15 Year Irish Whiskey - velvety and fruity, and has just enough oak to add character and flavor without getting too woody Jameson Irish Whiskey – The standard. Approachable, easy to drink, won’t break the bank. Powers Gold Label - heavier style of a blended Irish whiskey, hints of honey, golden raisins, and hay Teeling Single Grain Whiskey - phenomenal for mixed drinks and one of the best in its category Green Spot Irish Whiskey – one of the few single pot stilled Irish whiskeys, enjoy on the rocks for its smooth mellow taste with a hint of brininess Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey - This blended Irish whiskey is a perennial favorite for its smooth finish and versatile, citrus-forward palette that makes it a perfect pick for fruitier cocktails like a classic sour.  Slane Irish Whiskey - extremely approachable and great for mixing. For a blend, it's quite complex, having three different cask components (virgin, seasoned, and sherry casks). BONUS – BVM’s CGO recommends Tullamore Dew Caribbean Rum Finish – If you enjoy Irish whiskey, this is the best I’ve had. Incredibly smooth, sweet, matches perfectly with dark chocolate and orange zest. A rare find, so if you see it, grab a bottle (and one for me). *Courtesy of Town & Country Magazine, www.townandcountrymag.com
