This staggering growth represents a 30 percent year- over-year growth trend that is only gaining more momentum. Riding on this growth is the solar energy sector, a nascent industry that today employs almost a quarter of a million workers who have cumulatively installed close to 3.5 million solar energy systems nationwide.
