FOCUS ON ENERGY® Keeping Home Builders Focused on Energy-Efficient Homes. Focus on Energy is Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy program. The Program empowers residents and businesses to implement energy efficiency and renewable energy projects by providing financial incentives, education, training, and other resources.As part of this effort, the Focus on Energy New Homes Certification Program works with home builders who want to build homes that exceed the standards for quality, safety, comfort, durability, and energy efficiency. This is why, in just 23 years, more than 40,000 home buyers have chosen to work with a builder partnering with Focus to build their dream home.
