By2041,Caledonisprojectedtoincreaseinpopulation from75,000to160,000-massivegrowthwithonly20 percentdevelopableland.“That’swhyit’simportanttogetour employmenttaxbasebuiltbeforetheresidentialgetshere,” saystheMayor.“Newgreenfielddevelopmentiscoming,so Councilhasadisciplinetofigureouthowwefitinseniors, aswell;notjustlong-termcareandseniors’residences,but peoplelookingtodownsizeintosmallerunitslikebungalofts.
