The Bonham EDC recently had the runway extended and an expanded fuel facility added to the airport property and we anticipate the funding of an aircraft mechanic in the next fiscal year to move us further ahead in servicing our current industries and attracting others. With the new Bois d’Arc Lake opening in October, the Bonham community will have greater numbers of affluent residents flying in and out, appreciating Jones Field Airport for its jet capacity and proximity to all that Bonham offers.
