Combined with faculty and administrative hires from Lyon College, Cabot is poised for a substantial increase in white-collar employment, further diversifying its local economy. However, the college and hospital are just pieces of a larger economic puzzle. Cabot is notably clear about what industries it’s best suited for, and is prepared to support them.
