The region has grown 20 percent over the past five years and finding appropriate housing to meet the demand has been an issue. “We know there is pent up demand for further opportunities for housing in Tecumseh,” Hillman says. “It’s one of those communities that in our region is very desirable, so we are working to ensure that we can get appropriate housing opportunities available for the private industry to bring forward.
