ROLLING WITH THE CHANGES TOWN OF TR Nova Scotia Located on the south side of the Salmon River in the Cobequid Bay region of the Bay of Fundy, today’s Truro was originally a Mi’kmaq settlement called “Wagobagitik.” Acadian settlers came to the area in the early 1700s but many were forced to leave during the expulsion of the
