Civil Municipal - Feb 2024

EDITOR’S NOTES I always look forward to February; a month that is synonymous with love and cupid in the air. February also provides a swell of optimism and motivation to meet objectives head-on with a full month behind us, and the bulk of the year to look forward to. For the companies, cities, towns, municipalities, and airports that we featured in this month’s issue, the same can be said. All of those we were fortunate to profile feel very optimistic about 2024 and are gearing up to meet their initiatives. In the corridors of Business View Publications, February has inspired us to bring inspiring profiles and stories that our readers enjoy. In-depth features fill this issue covering a host of business sectors from aviation to the housing and new construction sector. We are also currently hard at work producing a lineup of city profiles that highlight the growth we are seeing in municipalities across the continent. Our February issue is brimming with success stories that we are eager to share with you as you also celebrate what this new year holds for you. Capturing the momentum of commercial and residential development, as well as the design know-how to bring construction projects to life, filled our pages for this issue. We bring you in-depth features with leading players in the field including Alair Homes, Anchored Tiny Homes, Fulcrum Custom Builders, Genstar Development Partnership, LYF Architects, and NorthTwin Builders. These dynamic companies are constructing a leading path forward with a relationship-based approach and cutting- edge designs. Leading companies filled the pages for our January issue from Belfor USA Group, Cornerstone Co-op, and First Choice Business Brokers to SAFE Boats and True Rest Float Spa Franchising. These companies, and others we were fortunate to also profile, topped our feature list of innovative, forward-thinking industry leaders. Each of the companies we profiled shows revenue numbers that continue to head skywards and dynamic initiatives for the new year. As with every issue, we also sat down with city officials from Coos Bay, OR, Falls Township, Lawrence, MA, to Suisun City, CA. Parks and recreational projects as well as business retention and attraction numbers continue to impress while upgrades to other vital municipal services are in full swing for these regions. All the municipalities we were privileged to profile without exception are ensuring that the needs of their residents are in sharp focus. We also had the chance to sit down with the Airport Director at Hector International Airport; a dynamic and thriving airport that is meeting increased aviation traffic with high-flying initiatives and the headwinds of commercial growth in and around the airport. With all our profiles we hope that our valued business leaders learn a little something new about their relevant business sector as well as something about key developments within other business sectors that may serve to increase productivity and represent a model to strive for. As we continue to bring you features covering the very best in business, aviation, and municipal developments, we hope that you cherish the time that you have with friends and loved ones this holiday season and that every one of you appreciates the everyday blessings while looking ahead to the new year!
