Dooley proudly recounts the growth of student participation in these programs, “Three years ago, when the CTE Academy started, Lynchburg City had no students in it. I think last year we had close to ten. And I think this year we’re close to 30.” Dooley points out the forward-thinking CTE advisory board, comprising community members and business leaders.
