A notable project under this initiative is spearheaded by 4H2 Incorporated, a local company developing direct ethanol fuel cell technology. This innovative approach to generating electricity from ethanol, which includes exploring the use of cattails, is being developed in collaboration with research partners from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Over the next 18 months, Crookston’s top priorities will center on comprehensive assessments of the city’s infrastructure.
