The bill – H.R.3935, also known as the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act – contains several NBAA-supported provisions, including a first-ever general aviation title recognizing the sector’s important role in attracting new talent to the U.S. aviation industry, as well as targeted and meaningful improvements to the organization and protocols of the FAA, to increase the efficiency and the services of the agency. “We thank Chairman Sam Graves and Ranking Member Rick Larsen for their vision, commitment to bipartisanship and willingness to work with stakeholders to address the challenges facing the national airspace system and reinforce the United States as the global leader in aviation,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “I also thank NBAA members and other industry stakeholders who answered our recent call to action encouraging their elected representatives to support this important bill.” O p e n i n g L i n e s
