T he City of Centerville, Ohio achieves the difficult, and much sought after, balance of big city amenities with small town charm. City Manager Wayne Davis is quick to point out that it isn’t “just by happenstance” that Centerville keeps its unique feel. “We are in the middle of our strategic plan for 2018-2023,” he says. “It’s a five-year operational plan and we have six goal areas: economic development, planning, finance, infrastructure and housing, core services, and information technology.” The city’s administration is not only planning, but actively pursuing, those goals.
