Recently, they have built a new affordable housing option with 134 units and a youth shelter with seven beds that will soon be 10. In that regard, the town is in discussion with the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation and is hoping for some positive results. As far as economic development, more than 15 companies have migrated to town to set up in the South Georgian Bay area technology hub, known as ‘Tech Hub North’, and many companies have spawned because of the pandemic, including one that has developed a PROUD TO DELIVER SAFE AND RELIABLE ELECTRICITY TO THE COMMUNITY OF COLLINGWOOD
