T ennis Canada is a non-profit, national sport association, originally founded way back in 1890 as the Canadian Lawn Tennis Association. Today, Tennis Canada’s mission is to lead the growth of tennis in Canada and its vision is to become a world-leading tennis nation. The association is made up of ten provincial and two territorial associations: Tennis Alberta, Tennis BC, Tennis Manitoba, Tennis New Brunswick, Tennis Newfoundland & Labrador, Tennis Nova Scotia, Ontario Tennis Association, Tennis Prince Edward Island, Tennis Quebec, Tennis Saskatchewan, Tennis Yukon, and Tennis Northwest Territories. Tennis Canada is a proud member of the International Tennis Federation, the Canadian Olympic Committee, the Canadian Paralympic Committee and the International Wheelchair Tennis Association, and serves to administer, sponsor, and select the teams for Davis Cup, Fed Cup, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and all wheelchair, junior, and senior national teams.
