Tamiami Ford
Our name means a great deal
Tamiami Ford was founded in October 1973, by Arlie
Zellers and his wife Genie. Today, the Naples, Florida
dealership continues to be a family-owned business.
Tim Zellers, Arlie and Genie’s son, became president
of the company in 1986, and is still running it today.
Tim’s wife, Sheila, and their two children, Joy and AJ,
are also active in its daily operations. Sheila is Chief of
Customer Care, Joy heads the Finance and Insurance
Department, and AJ runs Dealer Operations.
Tamiami Ford sells a wide range of Ford products, in-
cluding passenger cars such as the Fiesta, the Focus,
the Fusion, the Mustang, the Taurus, and the new ford
C-Max Hybrid. Its truck line includes the popular and
best-selling F-150, the F-250 and the F-350. Ford
SUVs are the Edge, the Escape, the Flex, the Explorer,
and the Expedition. Econolines and Transits fill out the
cargo van and wagon line. Tamiami Ford also has a
large inventory of pre-owned vehicles, some of which
sell for under ten thousand dollars.
Tamiami Ford’s full service department provides its
customers with routine maintenance, such as battery
testing and replacement, brake service, oil and filter
change, tire care, and wiper blade replacement. Its
technicians are factory-trained specialists on all Ford,
Lincoln and Mercury vehicles, but all makes and mod-
