Elected on a platform of dealing with Belleville’s housing shortage, Mayor Panciuk is working diligently with city council to address the issue. He shares, “We now have a community improvement plan, for us to provide financial incentives to builders and developers to construct rental housing. That will not just help our current residents, but it also helps our businesses expand as they attract new employees who may not want to come and purchase a home; they may want to just rent one until they get a feel for things.
