The City is working tirelessly with the Missouri State Office of Broadband Development and exploring additional opportunities to ensure these homes are connected. This infrastructure enhances property values and attracts remote workers who can enjoy Wildwood’s natural beauty while staying connected to their careers. Stormwater management is another critical focus. Surrounded by two major rivers and nine watersheds, Wildwood faces unique challenges in addressing erosion and infrastructure protection. The city is developing its first comprehensive Stormwater Management Master Plan to mitigate these risks. This initiative, set to launch in 2025, will study all nine watersheds, identify priority projects, and pursue federal funding to safeguard public and private infrastructure from extreme weather events. Wildwood’s transportation infrastructure is also undergoing significant upgrades to enhance safety, reduce congestion, and improve accessibility. 9 CIVIL AND MUNICIPAL VOLUME 06, ISSUE 02 WILDWOOD, MO
