CAPE MAY COUNTY , NEW JERSEY The Cape May County, New Jersey, Economic Development Program focuses on building economic sustainability and resiliency for the regional economy.  The Program delivers technical assistance through direct consultation and networking to support new business attraction, business support services, and entrepreneurial development.  Attracting new technology- related companies to the Cape May County Airport is a top priority.  The County and the Delaware River & Bay Authority have a valued partnership that has resulted in millions of dollars of facility investment and infrastructure improvements at the site, readying it for a new era of attracting businesses and innovators, particularly those in the technology sector. Completed just this past Spring was the 25,000 sq foot “Tech Hangars” buildings, which are now 65% leased by technology sector companies.  With the County’s high quality of life, and geographic location within a few hours’ drive of the major metropolitan areas of the Mid-Atlantic region, many business owners are making the “Coastal Shift” and relocating their businesses and families to Cape May County. ......
