Airport Ownership and Assets With its central location in the community, the airport is known as the ‘Gateway to Georgian Bay’ and is part of a tri-party agreement between three municipalities, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Tiny. The Huronia Airport Commission, consisting of Mayor Evans, along with the mayors of Midland and Penetanguishene, and four community representatives, effectively governs the operations and development of Huronia Airport.
